Ms. Pezel teaches 5th and 6th grade Orchestra at Bristol Bay Elementary School and Grande Reserve Elementary School. She has been playing violin since she was in 3rd grade, and learned the viola, cello, and bass as she went through school. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education.
She plays on an ice hockey team as a left wing, loves to cook (especially spicy food), loves Spider-man, and has a cat named Leo who she lives with. Ms. Hunter teaches 5th and 6th grade orchestra at Autumn Creek Elementary School and Yorkville Intermediate School. Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee, she learned to play the viola in the 5th grade, which she continued throughout school, later adding the double bass and violin. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Music Education from Illinois State University.
When not in school, Ms. Hunter enjoys reading, baking, and playing with her cat, Bucket. Her family still resides in Tennessee, but she's happy to now call Yorkville her home! |
